Chairman of Rastriya Prajatantra Party, Kamal Thapa has stressed on Paush 27 be celebrated as Prithvi Jayanti and National Unification Day. Talking on the occasion of 295 Prithvi Jayanti and National Unification Day opinion exchange program organized by Rastriya Prajatantra Party in the capital on Tuesday, Chairman Thapa urged the concerned authority to declare a public holiday so as to honor the sacrifice of late king Prithvi Narayan Shah in the nation unification.
Most of the political leaders from all the parties respect the late Prithvi Narayan Shahs deed on the nation unification, however, they are not ready to accept accpt in practice, Thapa added. Further, chairman Thapa has urged that Prithvi Jayanti be marked as national occasion by respecting the voice of Nepali people.
Thapa also said that his party would never be agreed on the issues that are against the national interest. Saying that RPP will make a proper decision in appropriate time, chairman Thapa said that his party would never make a decision that would harm the nation and nationality.
